In 2009 St James Surgery became a training practice, and ,at the same time, Dr Martin Foley was accredited as a trainer.

We will be training a number of qualified doctors over the coming years. The trainees are at different stages of their post-graduate education, and will be answerable to Dr Martin Foley, in the first instance.

Dr Tony Downey will continue to teach undergraduate medical students during their attachments with St James.
